These terms and conditions apply to all visitors of the website www.oliveiravalentimlda.com, as well as to all customers or buyers to carry out commercial transactions using it.
All purchases of parts and accessories made by the electronic platform www.oliveiravalentimlda.com are dependent of Portuguese law. Accordingly, the existence of any conflict or discrepancy that is not susceptible of resolution between the involved parts in the purchase/sale will have to be submitted to the competent Portuguese Court. The above is valid for customers residing in Portugal as well as for customers resident abroad.
If there is any missing point in these terms and conditions, that will be solved by the dispositions of the applicable Portuguese law.
The Oliveira & Valentim, Lda. company reserves the right to change, at any time, the commercial information visible on this site, without notice, in particular in order to products, prices, commercial conditions and services.
The prices of spare parts and accessories visible on the site www.oliveiravalentimlda.com do not include the cost of transportation and the taxes (V.A.T.)
Prices shown in "your basket" (after completing the order form) are purely indicative and may vary considering the transportation costs and V.A.T.. After the order form (and the reception of an email with the "Confirmation of the Order No ..."), the customer should not proceed to the payment of that value, but rather wait to be contacted so that we can confirm the stock and send the real payment value.
All orders will be processed by the Oliveira & Valentim, Lda. company after the payment confirmation. Processing time counts from the moment that the transfer actually appears in the firm's bank account, which can take a few days after the payment has been carried out by the PAYPAL system.
The customer should consider that the processing time of the order is possible to be controlled by the company. The same cannot be said in order to the transportation, as this will depend on the destination and on the carrier. The Oliveira & Valentim, Lda. company will send the code of the shipping carrier and the site link through which the client can follow, in real time, the evolution of transport. After e-mailing customer the delivery code, it can confirm that the order was actually sent, so the consequences of any delay should be attributed to the carrier and not to the Oliveira & Valentim, Lda. company.
Orders will only be shipped on business days.
If the payment settlement of the order doesn’t happen in the two days after the request from PAYPAL, the order will be cancelled. In that case, the customer can make the same order, but without a stock guarantee.
Even considering that the parts for sale are new and original (and the electric parts previously tested by the factory), in case of damage or defect, the customer must inform the company via "Contact" form, indicating the order number and the description of the circumstances of malfunction. Then, the customer will receive information about the procedures. After we receive the car part, that will be technically verified and, if we find any problem with it, the part will be replaced. In this situation, we will replace the article and we will send it to the customer address without additional costs. However, if the part inspection finds that the product does not have any deficiency, but it was damaged by the fact that it was poorly installed or it had a negligent use, the complaint won’t be accepted. In that case, we can send it to the customer address if the customer pays the transportation costs (or, it can be collected in the firms address).
Considering the Portuguese Law n.º 144/2015 of 8 September – Out of court Dispute Resolution Mechanism - we inform the consumer about the website: www.arbitragemauto.pt.
3. Customers and users – Obligations.
Photographs of parts and accessories presented correspond to references O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Customers or potential customers must never acquire a part or accessory based on simple visual similarity or the designation.
The customer must buy the parts using O.E.M. reference. That’s the only way to be sure that the wanted part is the right one for the vehicle. If the customer is not professional, please contact us and indicate the identifying elements of the vehicle so we can proceed to the identification of the part you want to buy, or, if you prefer, you can browse catalogs on the internet and get the reference of the right part for your vehicle.
Thus, any customer who decides to buy a part or accessory on this site assumes that he is completely aware and informed about the part that wants to buy. Accordingly, we will not accept returns based on negligence of the consumer at the level of lack of information or incorrect information.
The customer must inform us if the vehicle has some system change. These changes must be taken into account considering that the chassis number may indicate a different O.E.M. reference than the one that is being used.
The client is responsible for the veracity of any information that he provides by this site, and compromises to make into the registration account all modifications.
The client compromises to never use fake IDs, and must provide all personal data that is required, by the law, to process the orders. Otherwise, the firm Oliveira & Valentim, Lda. can refuse to process any order based on lack of information.
